We are a collective of individuals bound by a variety of disciplines, inspired by the idea of uncommon perspective, driven by the vision to transcend the boundaries of clothing and design.

Our project is to develop the inherent possibilities of individuals and their passions. For our concepts to evolve, we must be rooted in tradition while striving for progress. Tradition without progress is static and outdated, while progress without tradition lacks a solid foundation. To be able to truly thrive is to be connected to both tradition and progress. GRO.

History

In 2009 The GRO Project seed was planted. Our goal was simple, to build a foundation that cultivates artist growth. We joined together from all walks of life with the same idea that creativity can connect the seemingly unconnected. Today. We continue to create our art through unlimited dedication with the message of progress.

Design

The GRO project, concentrates on the stylistic side of clothing design, focusing on the inherent quality, structure, and originality of the garment. At the heart of our apparel design the garment is the centerpiece. We attempt to beautify the everyday by redefining functionality with decorative restraint.

New functionality is discovered through re-translating traditional aesthetics while creating a garment that meets the particular needs of the wearer. Not only is the garment well designed and constructed, but the design often strives toward a considered, personal reaction to modern throwaway society, finding new uses for everyday and often-overlooked materials.
